In 1976, Palmeras restaurant was founded where main market used to be. Throughout it´s construction, the architect´s main concern was to give the client a place where one could enjoy the view of the Caribbean sea.

Palmeras Restaurant was built following the Caribbean construction style, and has conserved that ambiance along the years. Even when hurricanes Gilbert and Wilma devastated the island, palmeras has been reconstructed in the same way.

Palmeras restaurant has become the face and image of the island of Cozumel, wellcoming all those tourist that arrive through our main pier.
